Updates and the Next Podcast

Hello Web hosters! I just wanted to let everybody know that I will be a little busy this weekend, during my usual show recording time, but do not worry I have an episode of the Web Hosting Show ready to go for all of you. Podcast 25 of the Web Hosting Show will be a “best of the best” type episode. I am going to go through some of the best Web hosting Web sites out there, such as best forums, best news site, best directory one by one and give you my picks. It should be a little different and hopefully a lot of fun to listen to. So check that out this Monday, right here on the Web Hosting Show Web site.

I’m also looking for a few more folks to interview, so if you have something to do with the Web hosting industry and you want to talk, feel free to shoot me over an E-mail and we will get something worked out. First Award for Web Hosting Show!

Yeah, I was overlooked this year over at PodcastAwards.com, I have learned to deal with that. On the bright side of things though, I was awarded an Editor’s Choice Award via the folks at the Host Reference Web site. Being listed with some of the hosting industry greats such as The Hosting Standard and Web Host Magazine is a good feeling indeed.

Here is what Host Reference had to say about me:

Hosting Show Joins Tech Podcasts

Well I can officially call myself a tech podcast now! Well I guess I could have before, but not I am also a member of the TechPodcasts.com Web site. I haven’t been added to the members page yet, but hopefully that will be coming soon. I’ve always admired the TechPodcast.com Web site and group of podcasters. “Cool” Web Hosting Radio

I found this the other day via the BX Radio Blog:

IT’s OFFICIAL! Cool Cast Radio has started signing it’s first podcasters to it’s online radio station. Among those who have signed an agreement to be broadcast on the BX Radio Network’s podcast radio station, are Mitch Keeler’s Web Hosting Show and Joan Winberg of JLW Enterprises.

So it is all official folks! The fun should start on Septepmber 1, 2005. I am really looking forward to seeing how this all rolls out as much as the next guy. I also think that this should be a very helpful tool for both podcast producers and podcast listeners. Also many thanks to Matt Hartley for reserving a place for my foot to be in the door of this whole project.
