Web Hosting Video – What is Disk Space?

Hello and welcome to the first of hopefully many video tutorials from the Web Hosting Show. This week we are going to talk about what disk space is. Some of the most simple questions are the hardest ones to tackle, so hopefully by the end of this video you too will have a better understanding, and possible love for your own disk space.

Make sure you remember to send any feedback, thoughts, suggestions or questions to mitch@mitchkeeler.com and who knows? I might even tackle what you have had to say on the next edition of the Web Hosting Show Video Tutorials.

Also, as a side note, I know I promised you a video download as well, but as of right now I have had second thoughts about that. For right now I’m just going to keep things inside the flash player for now. Maybe down the road I’ll be able to do video (avi, mov, wmv, or mpeg) versions. I just don’t want to put too much stress on my main server and space I am getting from the folks at WebHostingChat.com.

I recently had the chance to have an interview with him and I have to say he has a lot of intresting perspectives on the Web hosting industry. Continue Reading →

For this week’s Thursday Web Hosting Show segment I thought I would feature one of my new favorite downloads that would be perfect out there for any Web hosts or Web hosting clients that might be listening. The name of the program is PSPad and I have to say it is the best program for Web page editing that I have ever used.
