Well I guess the first question that everybody wants answered is what is it. Flashback is a software package developed by the folks at Site5 to do automatic backups of your files. For an example, lets say I changed an image on my Web site. The next day I might want to change it back, but I didn’t backup the origional to my computer. Well, Flashback would allow me to “undo” my changes and go back to the previous day’s image.
The fun doesn’t stop there. You can also totally restore your Web site, not just one or two files. If you want to roll your Web site back to how it looked a week ago, just use Flashback.
Site5’s development team says that there are many more new features to come as well. I don’t know about you, but I’m almost wanting to become a Site5 customer so that I can check some of this stuff out for myself! Right now Flashback is completely free with any Site5 plan. This may change in the future, so if you are interested in using Flashback, order a package today.
