Found this interesting jewel on YouTube the other day, and thought I would post it up here and see what you think. Are all top ten web hosts links scams or just a select few? Does this paint web hosting resources on the web with a “do not trust” coat of paint or are there exceptions to the rule?
I would love to hear some feedback on this one. Do you think they are speaking the truth or are all of these top 10 sites all the same?
Trademark vs Copyright for Webmasters I have often gotten asked, how can you or what does it mean to put that little “R” with the circle around it or the little C with the circle around it on a web site?

Great find Mitch! Web hosting definitely bad it's seedy neighborhoods. I guess that is what happens when you have thousands of host chasing customers who believe that if they can save a buck it must be a better hosting company.
Thanks for sharing this one. It is interesting. It is true that most of the directories stuck in the video offer biased reviews, advertising of affiliate link. But major hosting directoires also does it. TheWHIr lists web hosts only under paid programs, WebHostDir is pretty commercial one. Other popular hosting dirs also work the same way.
What a better way to get a message out these days than to make a video.
It's not honest. Any host that participates in these ad sites is not a completely honest company in my eyes. These sites trick consumers who are unaware. Maybe most of the hosts are good in these lists, maybe the customers won't have a bad experience, but to me it's just a slash to ethics. And searches would be a lot cleaner without this fluff.

Great video. Never seen this one before but it is an eye opener.
